CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR ICDIM 2008 WORKSHOPS

ICDIM 2008 (IEEE Sponsored) will host a number of workshops addressing different areas related to digital information management that complement the main ICDIM 2008 conference.
We invite workshop organizers to send proposals as instructed below.
Workshops are intended to serve as an intensive collaborative forum for exchanging late breaking ideas and theories in an evolutionary stage. We encourage prospective workshop organizers to submit proposals for highly-interactive workshops focusing on either in-depth analysis or broad-ranging approaches to areas related to digital information management.

Notification of Workshop acceptance: May 15, 2008
Camera-ready paper submission: Aug 31, 2008
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
A workshop proposal should be about 2--5 pages long and contain the following information:
* Title;
* Summary;
* Topics;
* Format and duration;
* Organizers (attach short CVs, limit of 2 pages each);
* Proposed program committee;
* Expected submission and acceptance rate;
* Type (academic and/or industrial) and number of expected participants;
* Significance in relation to topics of the main conference;
and
* Details of any previous workshops.
Proceedings of all ICDIM 2008 workshops are to be published as a single volume of IEEE to be distributed at the ICDIM 2008 conference. Workshop proposals are reviewed based on the quality of the proposal, its relation to the main ICDIM topics, and the likelihood to attract enough participants.
Exact workshop paper submission and author notification due dates are at discretion of workshop organizers but must fit within the time-line indicated.
All the workshop papers should be limited to 8 pages in IEEE format.
It is expected that the organizers of ICDIM 2008 workshops conforms to the rules imposed by the I steering committee such as the acceptance rate for all workshops will not exceed 50% and organizers are not allowed to submit their own papers to their workshop. Workshop proposals should be submitted by email to either of the workshop chair listed below.
