Workshop on 'Management of Electronic Information on the Internet'
This workshop will bring together online shoppers, SMEs and industry participants that use the Internet technologies and mobile devices to enhance business operations.
The workshop examine how the businesses (e-commerce) that communicates over the Internet are shaped by issues of trust, privacy and personal data management and how these issues are addressed differently by business segments.

International electronic data exchange: cases, incidents, questions
Problems encountered by small and medium businesses
Specifics of Canadian and the UK customers' populations

International data transfers; data processors in other countries; issues of liability and control
Relation of industries/sectors with legislators in Canada and the UK
ISPs—handling of data, jurisdictions; and
